In this week’s edition of ‘Pearl’s Preview Pod’ former Brisbane star Steve Renouf says the “genius” of Wayne Bennett’s coaching methods has unlocked the best in Rabbitohs halves Cody Walker and Adam Reynolds.

Renouf, who predicts South Sydney will continue on their winning ways against North Queensland on Sunday at Suncorp Stadium, says Bennett has taken the same approach with the halves duo that he did with Kevin Walters and Allan Langer at Brisbane where he gave them creative licence to play what they see.

Renouf has tipped the battling Broncos to beat the injury-ravaged Sea Eagles on Friday night but questions why outside backs James Roberts and Jamayne Isaako were dropped when the middle of Brisbane’s defence was “opened up like acan of sardines” by Souths last week.
